What was the most important foreign policy event of the Kennedy administration? Why was it the most important event?

    I believe it was the Cuban missile crisis if I am understanding the question right. it was important because it almost launched the us and soviet Russia into nuclear war because Russia was sending nuclear missiles to Cuba.
