How did William Penn's treatment of Native Americans differ from the Puritans' treatment?

    Most Colonists did not treat Native Americans with respect, including Puritan. Instead they would enslave them, force them off the lands they had held for many years without paying them, and also try to convert them to Christianity.

    The William Penn's treatment of the Native Americans differ from the Puritans' treatment because he bought them land and treated them with respect. While the Puritans took their land and did not give them respect. They also fought with the Native Americans.

    William Penn was generally far more accepting and kind towards the Natives than the Puritans, who ironically were very intolerant and discriminatory of non-Puritan people.
