Why, after having dissolved Parliament, did Charles I call it back into session?

to punish its leaders

to get it to raise funds to crush a rebellion

to have it name Oliver Cromwell as Lord Protector

to force it to sign the Petition of Right

    "to get it to raise funds to crush a rebellion" would be the best option from the list, since many insurrections occurred during this time that had to do with the idea that a monarch should not be all-powerful.
