To what extent was andrew jackson responsible for changes in the period often called "jacksonian democracy"?

    Nothing happens in a vacuum. Though Jacksonian Democracy occurred largely under the eye of Jackson during the presidency, it would not have been possible without the socioeconomic and social changes of the previous decade.
