Basaltic magma is the type of magma that is high in Fe (Iron), Mg (Magnesium), Ca (Calcium) and low in K (Potassium) and Na (Sodium). Basaltic magma has low viscosity and moderately fluid. It is partially melted and can usually be found in hot spots and rift-zones.
