How did the principles of the free enterprise system, laissez-faire, and the profit motive encourage the rise of industry

    Without government restrictions on trade or taxes on goods, people were more free to buy and sell goods which boosts the economy. It was easier for businesses to sell goods for more convenient for buyers.
