A major conflict between Arabs and Israelis arouse since 1948. The roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict are due to the rise of Zionism and Arab Nationalism. A part arises from the conflicting claims and control of the same land. The territory regarded by the Jews as theirs is at the same time regarded by the Arabs as their ancestral homeland.
