What human advancements were made from the Paleolithic Age to the Neolithic Age? Stone was shaped and polished for specific purposes. Homo erectus developed opposable thumbs. Neanderthals migrated from Africa to Europe. Farmers used the Julian calendar to predict the seasons.

    Farming societies emerged during the neolithic era, but there were still hunter gatherers in places such as The south African bushmen and most ‘Native Americans’. In the near lithic era people change from being nomadic to starting to settle in small towns or cities
