Why did Marx and Engels want to promote the working class and take away the insitent power that the upper class had over the lower classes?

Marx and Engels based on Hegel's unscientific historical determinism and historizophy due to that that working class is one class of proletariates who should overthrown the upper classes and intruduce dictatorship of proletariates
