One way that humans have contributed to the desertification in Southeast Asia is that humans domesticated grange animals to the area. The area had a voluminous amount of vegetation. A second way is that humans engaged in substantial open mining which altered the course of water sources to the agricultural areas of the land.

Pollutoin is a huge one and destruction of forests and land ... ie all the big towers and smog
