What caused the Red Scare of 1919? Explain the Sacco-Vanzetti and John T. Scopes cases, which amendment enacted prohibition? Which amendment repealed prohibition?

    Ok so the 18th enacted prohibition and the 21st amendment repealed prohibition

    The red scare of 1919 was caused by a fear of immigrants after WWI.

    Sacco-Vanzetti were two Italian immigrants accused of murder and robbery. They were not given a fair trial because they were immigrants and sentenced to death. Most supported the court's decision but some intellectuals began to support Sacco and Vanzetti.

    The Scopes case showed a new support of fundamentalism which would be sticking more to the bible word for word. Scopes was tried for teaching evolution in a school which went against the bible beliefs
