James Bowie was born in Logan County in the state of Kentucky of United States of America. He was born in the year 1796 and died on 6th March in the year 1836. James Bowie was one of the greatest nineteenth century American pioneer who played a very important role in Texas Revolution. He died at the Battle of Alamo and is still remembered for his bravery. He is considered a hero in Texas and several folklore's about him are still present in Texas.
