Why was credit an issue that led to the great depression

    There many things that led to the Great Depression. The stock markets crashed and factory and farm workers were paid a very small wage. The invent for new technology made prices go down. More money was printed which caused inflation and led to the Great Depression. So your answer would be, when people had credit, it led them to spend over the amount of money than they had.
