How would we tell a hero story today? what would the setting be, what would the enemy be, and what values would the hero embody?

The hero would be a strong female with traits rebelling to the traditional "damsel in distress" trope while still alluding to it slightly. The enemy would be either the fact that no one wants to forget about the trope, the fact that the tables turned and the man is, while still handsome (sometimes), now the damsel (or maybe just not the only hero), or the fact that all the men are against her or don't believe she can be strong (maybe even some women), but that's just the feminist way.
