Why do you believe the constitution is a dead document?

Because the constitution was made to shape our government for success but yet we still manage to change it over and over again to alter the way we live today. So therefore our constitution is not relevant because it's altering to benefit us and it should be the other way around. We should live by the constitution not the constitution alter to us.
