Compare the role of women in Japan during the Heian period with the role of women in Europe during the High Middle Ages.

I have to write an essay to answer this, but I'm having trouble getting started. What are some things I could write about?

I have no idea about Heian period in japan but you can start writing how they dressed. how they paticipated in their societies. how they thought. what was their rol. and if you write one or two line for each, I mean explain each of the subjects for both types if women, you'll have one page of an essay
