    The following tribe of Native Americans are associated with the Iroquois league: Mohawk, Oneida, Cayuga, Seneca and the other two are Onondaga and Tuscarora. The Powhatan is not included in the Iroquois league, is a tribe of people from Virginia, they are Native Americans. The Iroquois league is also known as the Iroquois Confederacy. The 6 nations mentioned above are not all part of the original 5 nations, in the year 1722, the 5 nations become 6 nations. The 6th nation that joined in the year 1722 is the Tuscarora.
