The Boer War was sparked by D. the discovery of gold and diamonds on Boer-held lands. This historical event ended up as a defeat of British and the second independence of the South African Republic. This fight took place 20 December 1880 - 23 March 1881, but this fight between Britain and Boers was not the last one. Soon, in 11 October 1899 - 31 May 1902 Britain won the Second Boer War.
