Based on the text of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, what was the position of the Republican Party in 1858? Was the Republican Party an abolitionist party? Why or why not?

    Union Vampires ruled over the voting poles, so basically the RPB party was in the best position it was ever in. No they weren't an abolitionist party, that would be calling the banished do-gooders.
