    False - the army of Cuban exiles were outnumbered by the 20,000 Cuban army members headed by Castro as he was tipped off about the invasion by a spy, so they were ready for them. no other Cubans joined in once it began and the USA sent their air raid in too late. It was a failure for the USA.
