Summarize the Cuban Missile Crisis

On Oct 16, 1962 the United States detected nuclear missiles in Cuba. They were built there by the Soviet Union. This made nuclear war a very real threat. At any time it could've erupted. Luckily the Soviet Union eventually disassembled the missiles and they were returned.
