    The Treaty of Versailles ended WWI and its terms were extremely harsh on Germany. What really upset the German people was that there were no German representatives when the treaty was drafted, in other words, Germany had no say in what happened to it after the war and was forced to sign it. This lack of representation, and the terms of the treaty, led to serious resentment of how Germany was to make reparations.
