The colonist were outraged after the Townshend Revenue Act, which raised the price of tea. Why were the not pacified by the discount cost of tea after the Tea Act of 1773?

    The british repealed the townshend acts, but only placed taxes on tea. The tea act of 1773 placed taxes on tea, so they were outraged because they found that insulting that the british only placed taxes on teas.
