Generally speaking, Rousseau trusts that an immediate majority rule government is superior to a delegate popular government. Consequently his maxim "resident investment, not portrayal." To Rousseau, "any law that the general population have not confirmed is void." Rousseau trusts that delegates "are just the general population's operators" and that an administration run straightforwardly by the general population is an ideal approach to protect freedom. He held the conviction that the more illustrative the administration was, the further expelled from the will of the general population it was. This is on the grounds that agents don't generally settle on their choices in view of the will of the general population. To Rousseau, in an agent majority rules system, the will and voice of the individual loses all sense of direction in the majority
