Why do the outer planets have more gas then the inner

    Hold gases like hydrogen and helium, which are present in the solar system in a large amount. So the outer planetsremained huge, having higher gravity and mostly gaseous. But the innerplanets became smaller, relatively having less gravitational force and remained rocky.
