Islam is a term used to define the religion of Muslims. Their God is Allah and last and final messenger is Mohammed. The Quran was brought down to Mohammed and the sunnah is taught to teach Muslims the way of life. Islam comes from the root word, 'salam'. Therefore, it is known as the religion of peace.
