If you're talking about Gilbert Tennent, then here's some basic stuff:
He was a colonial American pietistic Protestant evangelist, who was born the 5th of February, 1703 and died on the 23rd of July, 1764. Tennent was born in Ireland and later immigrated to America in his teens, where he soon completed training to become a pastor and eventually became a leader of colonial America's Great Awakening of religious feeling.
