Why do voters have more power in democracy than in a autocracy

    It is because their vote matters and they are free to express their opinion in public. They can be more influential on decisions in society and this gives them more power.

    People who live in autocratic governments don't have any rights to choose leaders or vote on which laws are made and put into

    practice.
