Why were the Allied Powers (specically France and Great Britain) concerned when it looked as if the Bolsheviks were going to win the Russian Revolution of 1917?

    The main reason why the Allied powers had this concern is that if the Bolsheviks won (which they did) it meant that Russia would withdraw from the war and potentially not re-join.
