Evaluate the strenghts and weaknesses of Andrew Jackson as president

This is of course somewhat of a subjective question, but in general most would agree that his strengths were that he was uncompromising on his principles and issue executive orders when Congress stalled. His weakness was that he was quick to form political rivals.
