The Progressive Party tried to accomplish several goals including:
1) Getting women the right to vote - Since this party was started in 1912, women did not have the right to vote yet.
2) Implement a federal income tax.
3) Create a law that would allow citizens to vote for their senators.
4) Minimum wage laws
5) Workman's compensation in case of a work related injury.
6) Limits on campaign spending.
