How was Washington a "good" president? What precedents did he leave for future presidents?

    One way in which he was a good president was in the way that he never tried to harness power for himself and then keep it that way. He believed in democracy and republicanism in the United States and was against any form of tyranny. One precedent that he left was having two terms as a maximum. It wasn't made a law until FDR, but people just had two terms at most due to Washington.
