What happened to Cherokee who refused to honor their removal treaty with the United States? The state of Georgia forced them to sell their lands to prospectors. They brought another lawsuit before the Supreme Court, but lost. The US Army rounded them up and forced them to march west. They wrote their own constitution so they could remain in Georgia.

    The Us forced them off their lands and forced them to head west where there was free land and no one wanted it. but later on we figured out that wasn't nice and gave them reservations and money ...
