Describe life in Africa before they were taken on the slavery ships

Basically exactly as it is now except with less Ebola and stds like aids

It was filled with tribes of African people that would range from cannibals to normal tribe folk we'd know as native Americans. They also used to enslave and eat their own people for ritual and greedy purposes.
