The Sepoy Rebellion or also called as the Indian Rebellion started when some Indians were upset upon seeing that a draconian rule of the company was imposed. It is believed that the draconian rule started on a project of westernization and territorial expansion. They were upset because the implementation disregarded the historical subtleties in Indian society.
