Why did setting in Plymouth in late 1620 pose significant problems for the Pilgrim¨s?

    This was a relatively far-north piece of land, which was not suitable for agrarian purposes. In addition, this area was open to harsh winter weather, which was seen in the first few years of settlement. The area, being near the water, was at risk for harsh storms and flooding.
