The Colosseum was Rome's entertainment center. The Colosseum originally known as The Flavian Amphitheatre was used for celebration, events and shows that usually displayed gladiatorial fights, held executions of prisoners also gladiator and wild beasts fights. Thousands of animals fought against eachother and died.
