    Sargon was the leader of Akkadian empire. He was the first king of the empire and his generations ruled the empire for about an hundred years. During his reign, the people of Akkadian empire fought with and conquered the Sumerian people, thus uniting their lands with their own. The empire was thus greatly enlarged during the period Sargon was ruling.
