What percentage of women held jobs by the turn of the 20th century? what types of work did they do?

    The correct answer is 25% and the work was manufacturing in factories. The number increased even more during world war 2 when men went to Europe and the Pacific to fight and women started working even more to manufacture everything, from food to weaponry.
