You have most likely heard the adage, "Ignorance is bliss." Do you agree with this? Why or why not? How does this relate to Faustus? Your answer should be at least one hundred words.

    I agree with the statement ignorance is bliss. There are just some things better left unknown. For example when and how we will die knowing that would cause us to live differently then we would have if we hadn't known we would try to avoid it. It relates to Faustus because he clearly disagree's strongly with that statement he decides to go after ultimate know; edge and wisdom no matter the consequences even if it means an eternity in hell.
