What were the economic factors that led to the Crusades? What impact did the Crusades have on trade and the economies of Europe? Did any city-states benefit more than others, and if so, why?

    The economic faactores that led to the crusades was that muslims ruler blockaded trade bewteen europe and far east after the crusades started that trade network we reopen and that led to the prosperity and enormouse rise of Europe the cities that benefited even mroe were italian city states mostly Genua and Venice
