The declaration of independence and the 14th amendment both address what rights of american citizens

    They both address that all people who live in the united states deserve freedom and liberty. Basically they are documents that say if you are a US citizens, you have the rights to freedom of speech, the right to own land, etc, etc. This is regardless of your identity, i. e. race, gender, and more.
