C. The HoChi Minh Trail

Although the U. S. Military fought rigorously to destroy the trail, the trail was always fragmented since it wasn't just one trail. Also, the U. S. decided not to touch Laos, which the Northern Vietnamese Army took advantage of that by putting the trail through the country.
