    The Striking Force used six aircraft carriers-Akagi, Kaga, Sōryū, Hiryū, Shōkaku, and Zuikake. They left in there departure areas in the northern Japan en route to a position northwest of Hawaii, intending to launch its 408 aircraft to attack Pearl Harbor. There where 2 waves of an attack. The first one was 360 then the defensive was 48.
