Why did southern states object to and resist the tariffs of 1828 and 1832?

    The southerners purchased more remote merchandise than the northerners. So this sort of prompted sectionalism in light of the fact that the northerners thought distinctively and the southerners were furious on the grounds that it this levy influenced many individuals.
