The Sadler Report was an investigation completed by Robert Sadler (a member of the United Kingdom Parliament) that discussed the working conditions of children during the 1830's. His goal in developing this work was to generate a report that would support his idea of limiting the amount of hours that kids can work in textile mills and factories in general.
He used a combination of interviews from former children workers to medical professionals to support his idea that working long hours in these types of industries were dangerous to the health of British children.
