Summarize the differences in policies between Federalists and Democratic-Republicans, as reflected in the actions and laws passed by Adams and Jefferson.

    The Federalists (John Adams and Hamilton), wanted a strong central government, a better built and large navy, and were Pro-British.

    Democratic-Republicans (Anti-Federalists technically and Thomas Jefferson, Madison) were Pro-French, favored agriculture while Federalists wanted businesses, and wanted a weak government
