Which act did the British pass to try to prevent smuggling? How did this act and other trade laws threaten the personal relationship rights of colonist?

    The British Government tried stop smuggling by passing The Sugar Act (Molasses Act of 1733) but still, people did not comply to this. Colonist were against this since they believe that it is a way to raise money from them. The Americans has a great involvement on this and they pushed the no taxation without representation belief.
