In that case "The US House of Representatives" chooses the president.

In the United States of America the Senate is the upper chamber and after that The United States House of Representatives is the lower chamber. These representatives are directly elected and this started in 1789. Four hundred and thirty-five is the fixed number by law for voting representatives.
