Cause between a war between Austria-Hungary and Serbia, the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
Due to alliances, more countries joined in the war like a domino effect, which leads to WW1.
The cause of the U. S. joining the war was the February 1st Announcement of unrestricted German submarine warfare.
